Terms and conditions

1. Who are we and what do these terms apply to?

Kinderuitleg (www.testdirk.nl) is a website of Kinderuitleg, Prieel 17, 1628LS Hoorn, Chamber of Commerce number 123-456-78.9, email info@testdirk.nl. These terms apply to the use of the website and to all subscriptions you take out with us.

2. What do we offer?

Anyone can read the explanations on the website and listen to a free preview of each one. With a subscription you can listen to every explanation in full. Our prices, including VAT, are:

Monthly plan: € 4,95 per month
Yearly plan: € 49,50 per year

3. Account

• You can only create an account and take out a subscription if you are 18 or older, for example as a parent or guardian.
• A subscription is intended for use within your own household. Keep your password secret.

4. Subscriptions and payment

When you subscribe, you will see which type applies:

• Ongoing monthly subscription. You pay the first month with iDEAL. After that we automatically collect the monthly amount by SEPA Direct Debit until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with the button on the Subscription page. You keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for, and we will not collect anything after that.
• Fixed-period subscription (such as the yearly plan). You pay for the whole period at once with iDEAL. The subscription ends automatically after that period and is not renewed automatically. Shortly before it ends we send you a reminder, so you can decide yourself whether to extend.

A new price only applies to new subscriptions. If you reverse an automatic collection through your bank, we may suspend your access to the full audio until the payment has been received.

5. Right of withdrawal (cooling-off period)

Normally you have 14 days to change your mind when you buy something online. For digital content you can use immediately, such as our audio, this right lapses if you expressly agree to that in advance. That is why, when you subscribe, we ask you to tick a box confirming that you want access straight away and that you understand you lose your right of withdrawal as a result. Without ticking it you cannot subscribe. You will receive a confirmation of your choice by email.

6. Use of the content

All texts and audio on the website are protected by copyright. They belong to Kinderuitleg or to creators who have given us permission. You may use them for yourself and your household. You may not copy, download, share or sell them, or play them in public, except where the law allows it.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the website working well, but we cannot guarantee it will never have problems. The website may sometimes be briefly unavailable for maintenance.

8. Liability

If we are liable for damage, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months before. This limit does not apply if the damage results from intent or gross negligence on our part, nor where the law does not allow such a limit.

9. Complaints

Do you have a complaint? Email us at info@testdirk.nl. We will respond within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it together, you can turn to the competent court.

10. Privacy

Our privacy statement explains how we handle your data.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. We will notify subscribers by email of important changes at least one month in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

12. Applicable law

These terms and your subscription are governed by Dutch law. You always keep the protection the law gives you as a consumer.
